De Gordon Kittiez n de Bawl.

The Gordon Kittiez are very, very busy.
Harry and Jack are brushing their best kilts which were made by the
now retired tailor in Edinburgh who made the exclusive kilts worn by
the Royal Family. The dress sporrans are made of sealskin and are
very old family heirlooms. They are carefully laid on the bed awaiting
the moment when they are to be worn. The silver kilt pins and daggers
are set beside the sporrans and little buttonholes of heather are
placed there too. Jack has a comfortable old green Harris tweed jacket
with silver buttons that compliments his Gordon tartan kilt and Harry
has a new jacket that is a rich navy to match his Gordon tartan kilt.
The heavy stockings of Shetland wool are on the dressing table.
Jack reassures Harry when he remarks that they are going to be too
warm in the outfits."Nope, wees neffur tutu warm in highland dwess,thu
tempurratyoors arr stwictly contwolled atta bawl."

Meanwhile Sukie has put her beautiful slinky turquoise ball gown on
the bed beside her ribbons and the sparkling turquoise necklace she
has been given by Jack and Harry, it matches her eyes perfectly. She
has been to the Boutique and has a magnificent bouffant hair style set
with pearls and aquamarines, her nails sparkle with pearly polish and
her little velvet shoes have peep toes that show off her pearly
toeclaws. A little pearl handbag with a silver and pearl clasp is
carefully placed with the dress. She is so excited she can't sit down
and twirls around the room in a little dance. She just knows she won't
sleep tonight.

Jack has done all his chores and sits down on his cushion with a sigh,
he's tired and he must rest before he goes to the ball, he is looking
forward to seeing Trudi and has a little surprise for her. He smiles
in anticipation.
Harry closes the bedroom door and knocks on Sukie's door, he wants to
know if she'd like a cup of herbal tea to settle her nerves.
She thanks him and goes to sit beside Jack who is nodding off. She
smiles and washes his forehead.
Harry has made the tea and all of them now sit and sip from the china
cups. The room is comfortable and they are content.

trudi looks at her three choices for her gown, she looks at the maroon and
remfurs she has worn it recently, the silver isn't quite formal enuf, then
she looks at her green gown, its a dark forest green, and there is a gold
thread running through it, she thinks, the scottish jack will like diz
kolurz, so she puts it owt with gold flats, then she goes gets the bak pak
and concentratez... there where before was the pratcicle bak pak is a small
gold handbag with dark green threads running through... this is gonna be a
great ball, now for a qwik nap befure da ball so i will be fresh to see
Jack... trudi curls up and settles down for a nice nap
