After the cats sign the Guestbook, they enter the main ballroom. The
upper walls and the domed roof are glass. The lower half of the walls
are covered with mirrors tilted upward to catch the ceiling lights.
Between the walls and groups of small tables, tiny mirrors and shiny
icycls hang from thin filament threads which move gently. Each table is
decorated with a centerpiece of a small mirrored ball and candles in
glass pilars nested in a wreath of blue flowers. Above the stage, a
blue and silver sign, tastefully lit, announces:
9th ANNUAL JELLICLE BALL 2004
Across the room from the stage, plates, bowls and napkins in theme
colors are placed on long buffet tables which are laden with food
catered especially by Flluffykitz Catering who will announz thuh menu.
The orchestra begins to play, inviting kitties to the dance floor.
First, a light fox trot to Kitten on the Keys, then Everybody Wants to
