Post subject: Mine apawlogies to awl an askin fur purrs

I'ze sorry I hazn't been arownd for a while, but I'ze kurrently locked
up at TEDs inna cage. Well, dat's where mama thinks I am, I has rilly
ported over to visit Nathan, Chester an Clarence who were kind enuf to
help spring me frum mine prison. Kan yew all pleeze purr dat I kan go
back home to mama pretty soon? I kinda miss hur.
Charlie Fennel
(Hoomin note) I thought Charlie was having a very bad furball problem
and took him to TEDs, it turns out that my poor sweet boy has lymphoma
in his kidneys, bad in one, not so bad in the other one. Also another
tumor in his GI tract and something in his tummy that may be a tumor
or a cyst. TED and the onocologist think that they can give him some
more quality time here if they do chemo, so Saturday he had his first
chemo treatment and is stuck at TEDs probably at least until Tuesday.
I'll keep up treatments for as long as Charlie wants me to. He's still
fairly young (around 7 we think) and he's really feisty both of which
are in his favor. Right now the biggest problem is loss of appetite
due to the chemo, he had started eating again while at TEDs but the
chemo made him stop again. He wouldn't eat the kidney diet food at
all yesterday, but the did get him to eat a little ocean fish food.
They were also going to give him real tuna yesterday since I told them
he likes it, at this point TED just wants him to eat, and doesn't
really care what it is. Please purr for my poor boy to start eating
again, and please purr for me because I miss him so awfullly.

Yew are pritty tuff, Charlie Fennel and yew hav all ov our purrs going
fur yew. Meowmie is liting a speshul purr candul fur yew rite now.

Hope Charlie does well for a long time on chemo. Sorry to say, Iwe
have a little experience in this department. We wish you many weeks
